Cycling

One of Anuj's greatest passions was his love for cycling. Be it a road trip from Boston to Cape Cod or a weekend excursion on one of the many bike routes in California, Anuj was ever-ready to put on his helmet and shoes and go for a ride. This affinity began at a very young age when he first learned how to ride a bike. Anuj along with his brother Neal used to ride their dirt bikes around the neighborhood for hours after school. Later on when he joined MIT, Anuj and his fraternity brothers covered a 200-mile stretch from Boston to Cape Cod in a mere 2 days. His love for cycling only grew when he moved out to the west coast and discovered the numerous bike routes spread out all across the bay area. Anuj never missed out on a chance to ride on one of these routes. One of his dreams that unfortunately never materialised was to bike for fundraising cycling excursions, from San Francisco to Los Angeles, where he could enjoy his passion while helping out the community.

These beautiful childhood pictures of our beloved Anuj brought tears to my eyes. The carefree, innocence of childhood. They reminded me of special times I shared with dear Anuj in our early years. These are memories I will hold close in my heart forever.
Miss you so much Anuj,
Ruby

On March 17, as the world observed St. Patrick Day, around the world. We remember our beloved Anuj & Aditya. They both were similar in many ways. They both had little Shamrock Plant with them for many years.

We miss these Shamrock Plant as we miss Anuj & Aditya.

Remembering Anuj on St. Patrick's Day!

A few lines from an Irish Blessing read:
"May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand."

We long to meet you again, dear Anuj.

love,

Meena

Anuj and Dad often shared stories of the various SHAMROCKS they recevied from their friends. Today as the world celebrates St. Patrick's Day we are remined of these stories and wish for HOPE, FAITH, LOVE and LUCK in the future.

One leaf is for HOPE
The second for FAITH
The third for LOVE
The fourth for LUCK

As we go through every single second of our lives, we are often caught up in our daily thoughts; thoughts that can many times make us forget the important things in life. But the one thing we can never erase are the memories shared with a few very special people; role models whose teachings gets us through every single day. And though they might not be with us physically, we are comforted by knowing that through these teachings they are always watching upon us, giving us that very special smile and encouragement and wishing us best every step of the way.
