Diwali: Illuminating Our Hearts with Hope

From very beginning, in every legend of Diwali that is recited to us, lies the significance of “Victory of Good over Evil”; and it is with each New Year that this festival of light marks, that this simple truth finds new reason and hope to illuminate our hearts and homes.

On this auspicious occasion of Deepawali, as the thoughts of Anuj continues to be in our hearts and minds, we are once again reminded of his good deeds and great life as it continues to project light on the right path, giving us hope and strength and leading us from darkness into light.

On this Diwali day without you, as I drive past all the houses beautifully decorated with candles and lights, I find myself looking up in the sky and remembering of all those fun days when we use to do the same and light firecrackers on this auspicious day. And then suddenly my eyes go to this bright shinning star in the sky, which with its constant flickering almost seemed to tell me that everything will be alright. Someone ones said “Love is missing someone whenever you're apart, but somehow feeling warm inside because you're close in heart.” Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, yet having you in my heart helps me walk around that hole.

Historical Election Night
This is a very special day indeed --Nov. 4Th, 2008 - - A HISTORICAL ELECTION NIGHT, which will be remembered in years to come & will make a history.

I think of Anuj & Daddy on this day -- they must be watching this Historical Day together & smiling in wonder.

There is not one day that goes by when I think of how life would be if you were still here. And then I am reminded of your life. Thanks for everyting, and Goodluck! Miss you.
