Anuj & his Father: Inspiration for New Schools

“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.”
~Kofi Annan
After having spent time with Anuj, we all sooner or later realized that he cared about making world a better place to live in. In order to do so, he was a strong believer in education and his ideology is the foundation for the Anuj Mohan Scholarship Fund - Improving world, one child at a time with the power of education.
With this in mind, the Mohan family has once again pledged to form 6 schools in rural parts of India. In association with Ekal Vidyalay, the largest, non-government education movement in India, operating in over 36,783 villages and educating over 1,035,344 children in rural India. Each school currently holds 30-35 students and is providing education in basic fields such as math and science.
We had pledged support to the same organization last year as well. Additional information regarding last year’s support can be found here.
We would like to thank everyone involved in once again making Anuj’s dream slowly but surely a reality as we march towards our main goal of establishing the scholarship at his alma maters, MIT & University of Pennsylvania’s’ – Wharton School of Business.
