Boston Strong

As David Ortiz lifted that world series trophy tonight, we were once again reminded of Anuj, his love for baseball and his passion for Boston/ New England sports. Not only did Anuj love playing baseball, he truly enjoyed it as a spectator as well. To those who would question his passion for the game, he would often say, "it doesn't look like a lot is going on, but strategic decisions are being made on virtually every pitch." This "thinking man's game" aspect is what kept him hooked.

Anuj's combined his love for the game of baseball and the city he spent some of his favorite years in by rooting for the Red Sox not just in their good year, but during their low ones as well. Even when he moved out to west coast, he use to often rally his friends and family when Red Sox came to town to play the A's.

We're sure Anuj would have gotten all of us together to watch the Red Sox win the World Series.

Dear Anuj took the parents to our first Boston Red Sox game during our trip. Such a thoughtful boy and a lovely memory. Miss you everyday.
